The WinSETT Centre develops and delivers professional development for up and coming leaders tailored to early and mid-career female engineers, scientists, tradespersons and technologists in science and technology-based sectors and the men who work with them.
The Leadership Program components are all highly interactive, engaging, based on Canadian research and best practices, focused on the reality of women in SETT and professionally facilitated (WinSETT has ten facilitators across the country, all of whom are from the SETT world. They are engineers, scientists, educators, coaches, and technologists and all are and are passionate about providing opportunities to women in SETT.
Skill Builders focus on important professional development areas for early career Women in SETT. Each Special Topic is interactive and includes the gender aspect of the topic as well as research, tips and strategies. For mixed gender audiences, there will be a discussion about why it is important to have mixed gender discussions on these topics.
